Since I truly hate very little in this life, (I'm always in fascination) I find one thing that does perturb me and it should you. (Hey, that word doesn't come around much, does it? Thank you Aunt Mary Ann!!) That one thing which "perturbs" is called "New Year's Resolution." You hear it all the time. "I'm gonna do this, or do that." But, here is my chance to seed the grape. Why not have DAILY resolution? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wake up, brush your teeth, kiss your life, (in my case, wife) and go over your next adventure on a per-second basis. This, I think, will help you get through some of the toughest times coming ahead or beside you. Think about it this way. On your way to non-boredom, create little tiny do-able daily adventures. Example: if you're like me, you all know that I drive abuse-able beasts. Why would I NOT want to hit every mud puddle or pay homage to every mountain (or curb) I see? Oh yeah!! I wonder what it would be like to use the deer guard on certain politicians. Now that's true adventured resolution!!! Just kidding... Although, I might be selling tickets for anyone that rides in the back seat going political 4x4'ing with me. Wow, did I say that?
So, here's the beef. (examples, mind you) Don't ever take for granted...ANYTHING!!! Enjoy every step as YOU have made it. Be mindful of your cause and play well! Abuse "Thank You's". And, if it increases your bottom line, DOUBLE BONUS! (don't forget the K.I.S.S.) Addicting, isn't it?

A Friend, a Puppy dog and Cows
"Everything, lost or gained, comes in three's." Maybe it's pure or maybe it's manifested. Regardless, I find that most new adventures come in three's. As always, my observations lead me to these non-trivial tidbits of my off-the-wall excitement; a friend, a puppy dog and cows. For those of you that keep my shoe bottoms hot, try and find a way through. At all cost! Watching the change of seasons require no cost but is an interesting lesson for the intuitive learner. Think about it. How important is it for a tree to loose a leaf? We could get overwhelmed and think of the many leaves it(each of three) looses but we take for granted that it HAS to happen. Ya, I know, some of us find beauty in death or rebirth, but think a little further. I mean L I T T L E! Why do we find beauty in the falling or changing of leaves. Future compost? Colors? A four mile free-fall (in the leaves eyes)? Actually, I see an exciting sense of relief. For the tree, that is. What a wanted burden it must have been to carry a part of itself. Burden, meant in a good sense of course.
I say, let go and refresh. Growing yourself is a must and designed for many reasons! Look forward, and prepare, for next seasoned adventure. Breathe and rejuvenate with your fellow trees and feel their loss or gain too. Know that the tree next to you has shed it's leaves to help foster your next adventure. Make sure you reciprocate all lessons found within. Even if it's just standing there with your new(or seasoned) rake. That's how the tree finds solace. I should say, ALL TREES!! And, be thankful for the SUN that kept us all growing!
........"remember your lifes' preservers....and then set sail!" (Yes, you read that correctly, if you think I have a grammar issue, keep re-reading it until you get it :}
