Coffee, Sunshine, more coffee! I've got roofers' legs and thinking about scheduling some dig'n time with my son. (is that masochism in disguise?) As the Sun is breaking through the morning mist I write with extreme intent to deliver NOT a single sound word of advise. Mainly draw upon the spirits, but nevertheless, from the heartbeat. Lately, we have all been on the edge of our seats wondering where the radio announcer is going to takes us. Music sounds, economy, state of war, political state and all the other blah, blah, blah chatter that makes the Knob on the radio seem ever so close at hand. Thank God I've got that choice, right? I've sat long periods of time waiting for the Knob to go fuzzy and all of a sudden a voice comes over the waves and remarks "hey, I have no story to tell, just relax and enjoy your life." Have you ever noticed that every song, news statement or anything on the radio for that matter, is just some other spirit trying to get his or her story or opinion through to you? Since some of us are memorex's on steroids, yes, even us half-timers sometimes can't get that Steely Dan song (you know the one that goes over and over and over...) out of our head.
So, let's all steer back to non-boredom. Give life a run for it's money!! I will leave you with my quip of the day.... "It's OK to leave the knob wide open." "It's OK to jeer a stubborn lullaby." It's OK to leave the Mac truck on it's path." Just make sure it's "all-good!" And lastly, get out and give that back and shovel a good constructive work out! If you have nothing to build or dig, then by God, find a neighbor, bring a hammer, and ask how you can help. I guarantee your time will not be wasted and you will feel like a million bucks!!! (on the third day)
SUN! ...and coffee!
